Aptima optimizes the design of warfighting teams and organizations. Our Adaptable Modeling Environment (AME^TM) software tool has been used to define optimal organizations for command and control systems in a number of domains, including the CIC (Navy), AWACS (Air Force), and FCS (Army). AME allows system engineers to predict crew size requirements and define crew member roles and responsibilities based on the mission requirements before the development of technological systems. We regularly apply our DDD® desktop simulator to empirically validate organizational designs. With these known crew member definitions, systems can be engineered more effectively to support operational missions.
