Aptima evaluates human-systems effectiveness using measurement approaches rooted in scientific theory. A▪Measure®, our measurement technology suite, includes tools for graphically defining measures of human performance, such as speed and accuracy of task execution, communication, and coordination amongst team members, and workload. These measures are obtained from distributed simulator systems using A▪Measure’s PM Engine^TM, observer controllers using SPOTLITE^TM, and directly from trainees using CENTER^TM. Applied to both trainee and system assessment, A▪Measure provides qualitative and quantitative analyses of operator performance, decision-making behaviors, task management, and mission outcomes. Graphical analytical displays of the resulting performance data help decision makers identify and communicate critical lessons learned from training and evaluation exercises.
